Epi One CEO Michael Marquardt had the privilege of attending the American Cancer Society Medal of Honor ceremony in Washington, D.C. recently. The Award is ACS’ most prestigious award, recognizing individuals or foundations for valuable contributions to basic research, clinical research, cancer control, or philanthropy.
The 2025 Medal of Honor was presented to Dr. W. Kimryn Rathmell, MD, PhD, MMHC in recognition of her commitment to tackling the complexities and challenges of cancer.
Pictured below Michael (right), who is former Chair of the Board for ACS, is joined by Dr. Wayne Frederick (left), the ACS Interim CEO and his wife (center right), and Dr. Otis Brawley (center left), former ACS Chief Medical Officer.
Michael is also joined below by Terri McClements, the incoming Board Chair who starts her role on 1st April.
